- initial salary was ok- not high but not low. - sales office environment is ok the other sales manager really care about you and help when you’re in the trenches
Cons
bonus is something they talk about like it happens all the time and maybe it did at one point but doesn’t anymore. Unless you have fire school then you probably get bonused because you have the biggest market. - they don’t require going to dinner and happy hour with your clients but as a fire school manager you cannot do your job effectively if you do not. But you will not get any comp time. I pulled a 14 hour day but still had to be here 8:30-5 the rest of the week - no PTO for the first 365 days you are here. - any concerns I brought to higher ups attention were in one ear and out the other - it is a hostile work environment for sales. House keeping directly targets the sales team and gets them written up. - HR team is friends with operations team so if you bring up a concern it will get brushed under the rug or you will get written up. - if you are considering the fire school position or collegiate teams please ask for at least 80k and get comp time written into your offer letter. Also good luck.
