Pros
I'm a current employee who's been at Valley Alarm for a little under a year now. Here's the skinny on working for this company:
They are, 100%, totally focused on building a positive culture where the employees come first. If you're negative, you won't last long here. Vacation time scales up with how long you've been at the company. They're on track to double in size every five years and are hiring a lot of people. Despite being there a short time, I've seen that hard work and a great attitude gets rewarded often. You're not a number here, you're a valued member of the family.
Management is understanding about issues brought to their attention, and really does listen to employee feedback. Everyone helps the company grow, and management knows that.
If you have a great attitude, if you play well with others, and if you're cool with working hard - this is a great place to learn and grow.
Cons
The only truly frustrating things here are the parking situation and the size of the building, but both are things that management is actively working to fix. The company's going through some growing pains, but they'll come out better for it.
