Pros

You get to work with beautiful cars, and there are some great people to work with! Your work day mostly goes at your own pace, meaning you can take your lunch when it suits you and make phone calls when you think it's best as long as you meet your daily requirements. They are also very new-comer friendly and often hire people with little to no sales experience.

Cons

Management holds 2 to 4 meetings a day where they shout at everyone for things that are not constructive. There is an extremely negative manager to sales staff relationship. Your pay is commission, but they hide that break down from the staff which is frustrating when you had a deal that you were told was making money and suddenly it is only paying you a mini (which is $200). Expect minis for 90% of your deals whether or not the customer pays the asking price. The average pay for sales staff is about 50-60k a year for 70ish hours a week of work. The hours are extremely long, and it's very rare to get more than 2 days off a month (excluding Sundays). Management also likes to hold your days off as blackmail to get you to "work harder" or "get more creative", whatever that means. Most managers also tend to have favorite sales people and that leads to drama. The benefits are also expensive, particularly if you have the family plan.
