Pros

I had worked with VanHack for 3 years 9 months. It was a roller coaster ride! Even if my tenure here was less than 4 years, I have made connections with everyone in the team for lifetime :-) - Flexible working environment - You can select your own working hours - Ability to take the ownership of the process you are handling - No micromanagement - Work Life Balance - this phrase found its truest meaning in VanHack indeed - Loads of opportunities to grow - Continuous learning - Loads of benefits (unlimited time off, 2 weeks of paid vacation every year, annual furlough during the Christmas & New Year, training & development, remote work) - Amazing team members - A multicultural working environment - Fun events (virtual) - Christmas Party, Halloween Party to name a few - Great perks - Work is FUN here, with some of the best talents working together to make a difference in people's lives - Extremely collaborative and cooperative colleagues - You will want the Mondays to come badly, as the fun work environment makes the Monday Morning Blues vestigial

Cons

- Since, it is remote work, one might miss on face-to-face interactions. - The team is geographically distributed, so sometimes one might need to stretch on some days if you do not plan your day well.

Pros

Good collogues and work flexibility. Pay is okayish ... not that great.

Cons

I have not seen this much biased hiring process anywhere else. There are ton of good candidates from their portal that deserve a representation but instead they chose nepotism. Just because someone is from country X doesn't mean we should have a negative attitude towards them.

Thanks for your feedback. I will assume that your feedback is regarding our global recruitment servicers and not our internal team in the company. At VanHack team, we have a diverse talent from 14 different nationalities, 17 countries represented, 50% of Women in the leadership team, and company-wide. We can still do better regarding Diversity and Inclusion, but I believe we have done a good job. On the Global Recruitment Servicers provided to our Hiring Partners and Tech talent, we have an Applicant Track System that uses AI-matching rates to select the candidates with the closest skills that our clients are looking for, so candidates are first selected based on their skills described on their profiles. However, it is important to keep in mind that we are global, and candidates also need to attend to Immigration requirements such as education, years of experience, and location to allow them to relocate. We have helped candidates from over 30 countries get hired. HR Team.
