Pros

Vantage attracts; and hires, great people who wholeheartedly care about their work.

Cons

Constant changes in senior and executive leadership leaves employees feeling like nothing more than a number on an HR spreadsheet & leaves us feeling as though there is no sense of accomplishment or reward for caring about their work. Outward mindset and core values might be pushed on the line infantry employees but leadership has demonstrated that outward mindset and core values are rules for thee. Vantage senior and executive leadership leaves employees wondering what their futures might hold as the only priorities are growth and finding every opportunity to cut costs, often leading to groups simply pushing scope (and cost) onto another group within the company. Employees feel as though they are not rewarded for doing well for the company and there is a clear disconnect between the executive leadership team and the rest of the company. Zero training opportunities afforded to us outside of annual workday trainings that are simply clicked through in 15 minutes.

Pros

Overall, Vantage is a really good place to work, especially if you want to be part of a company that’s growing quickly and doing meaningful work in the data center space. The projects are interesting and impactful, and there’s a lot of opportunity to learn and grow. The people are probably the best part. Most teams are supportive, collaborative, and genuinely want to help each other succeed. Compensation and benefits are solid, and the company is in a strong position within the industry.

Cons

Because the company is growing so quickly, things can feel a bit hectic at times. Priorities can shift, and it can take some effort to keep everything aligned. Depending on the team and workload, work-life balance can fluctuate during busier periods. There can also be some inconsistency in how processes or expectations are handled across different teams, which can be frustrating at times.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear that the work feels meaningful and that you’re finding opportunities to learn and grow. It’s encouraging to hear your comments about the people; supportive and collaborative teams are a big part of what we want the employee experience to feel like. As Vantage continues to grow, we know that shifting priorities, team-to-team inconsistency, and busy periods can create friction. We’re focused on clarifying expectations, and strengthening processes so growth feels consistent across teams. Thank you again for taking the time to share. Feedback like this helps us understand what is working well and where we need to keep improving as we grow.

We’re glad the flexibility of remote work and the variety of the day-to-day experience have stood out. At the same time, we hear your concerns. We’re taking this feedback seriously and working with Vantage’s People, technology, and senior teams to improve how decisions are communicated, how system changes are rolled out, and how employees are supported through change. Your input will help us focus on the support employees need to scale effectively with the business.
