We recognize that there’s always room to grow when it comes to culture. Here are a few actions we’re taking to provide teammates with a stable, supportive, and empowering environment despite the high-frequency changes typical of a startup environment: (1) clear performance expectations during the hiring process and after joining Vareto, (2) additional leadership training for people managers on giving frequent feedback and better support their team, (3) special handling for cases where a teammate is assigned to a new manager to ensure that there is continuity of role expectations, feedback, and support.
In addition, our People Team provides ongoing resources (including an open-door policy and an anonymous feedback tool) to all team members, to provide support and encourage open communication. We welcome feedback, ideas, and suggestions at all times.
Looking ahead, we’ll continue to prioritize making Vareto’s employees feel supported and empowered to do their best work.
