Pros
Plenty of work, easy scheduling system
Cons
President is a buffoon -- inexperienced, no knowledge of industry, kid with an MBA who could write a biz plan and sell his concept but no idea how to best use VC money, no idea how to run a business, no professionalism. Employees seem to run the show and they have even less experience and professionalism than he does.
Pay rate is way, way, way too low for professional photography.
No cancellation policy in place, and with high school games often cancelled for various reasons, this is crucial because photographers lose income if they are not compensated for time lost when a client commits to a block of time but cancels (or client event cancels and there is no shoot).
Company completely screwed up IRS practices in 2015 and tried to get us to accept filing 2015 wages late and/or in 2016's returns.
Nobody at company except a few contract photographers knows anything about photography.
Print/download pricing to retail customers and also to media outlet customers is way too low and takes the bottom out of the market for real photographers. They are destroying the market.
