Much to say unfortunately: Working as an SDR at Vector Solutions means being assigned territories across the US, like the Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, and Southwest (including Alabama and Hawaii). But to be honest, some territories are better than others. The Northeast stands out, with its track record of more success, thanks to better leads and faster promotions for any SDR assigned there. The likeliness is because Northeastern schools tend to have more funding and, therefore, more spending. Because of this, there is a clear disparity in opportunities and workload, making it feel unfair. Even I noticed that the turnover rates among AE's in less favorable regions add to this feeling.
In recent years, there have been changes in management. The Cincinnati office used to be the HQ for Education SDRs, but now much of the sales team is being managed from Tampa, with more SDRs hired from there. Not every branch is the same in terms of its atmosphere.
Lastly, while there are growth opportunities, SDR pay at Vector may not stack up if you worked as an SDR somewhere else.
