Pros

Fast paced environment with no shortage of opportunity or things to do. The company has had sustained and successful growth which has been encouraging to be apart of. The office culture in NYC is building as Veho just moved into a new corporate office, while other employees are able to also be remote / hybrid. There are a lot of new roles and a focus on hiring across teams which will help support company goals and the sustained growth.

Cons

Peak season is definitely busy, and there is no shortage of work to be done across teams which can make the work life balance challenging at times. This is definitely something that fluctuates by teams and departments.

Pros

Fast growing company, incredibly engaged founders, most of the people that work here are fantastic people, little to no egos, everyone has one purpose in mind and its to see this company succeed. Peak season is a great view of how strong the company culture is at Veho: The boots on the ground initiative that happens every year truly shows how everyone is invested in Veho's success

Cons

It would be fantastic if the company matched 401-K contributions. Other than that there are no notes on my end, this is truly a fantastic place to come to work.

Pros

You decide your own hours and routes.

Cons

if you are a contract driver for them, once you factor in 1099 taxes, fuel, and wear and tear on your vehicle, you are taking home about six dollars per hour. Thats not just my situation. I have run the numbers. The self employment tax KILLS your profits. Doesnt matter if you work a little or a lot. You wil just earn more hours at about six bucks a piece. This is why they hire contract drivers. They are allowed to pay less than minimum wage and well below what a driver should be making.
