It's essentially a frat house. The environment is unprofessional with no sense of decorum or professionalism. If you value structure and control, this place isn't for you. Those who thrive here are often unqualified for professional roles elsewhere. The CEO prioritizes personal leisure, like riding his hoverboard and managing his side weed dispensary business, using employees for tasks. HR is poorly trained, leading to daily policy violations, including editing timesheets illegally and overlooking misconduct like misogyny and unprofessional behavior. The sales teams are undertrained and suffer from high turnover, with new hires frequently dismissed within weeks. The main floor resembles a chaotic scene with inappropriate attire, loud conversations, and a lack of discipline, contributing to an overall lack of control. Management lacks direction, with many hiding in their offices to avoid the chaos. The company could excel with proper leadership and a more professional approach. Advice to management: Invest in proper training and enforce a more professional workplace. Also, consider removing the gongs that disrupt the work environment.

This is a fantastic company to work for as Velocity is quick to respond to any issues. The owner Todd is a fabulous person to deal with as he really cares about his employees and clients!

Pros

Portland pay structure outstanding people that work there and a beautiful office located right and Beaverton Oregon relocation right off the freeway perfect for people to get to work

Cons

This is turn-em and burn-em operation no sales person is developped, they only have one person that knows the products week enough to sell and no training is provided. Whether you're a customer or a sales person working on commission and you are looking for support this is not the place. Very passive aggressive management style from the CEO all way down to the sales manager.
