Pros
Certain positions can be a decent short-term or entry level job, just have an exit plan.
Cons
Veritext has bought out many smaller companies the past few years and does a poor job at organizing and implementing their constituent parts. New employees or incoming departments are put under remote managers who want nothing to do with them, often leading to them just being eliminated shortly after onboarding. Favored employees are promoted to the few higher positions based on cliques and alliances rather than merit. Contradictory and halting directives are given to lower level employees by disengaged and unimaginative managers, who actually openly state that revenue is their only concern. Niether the owners of this company nor any of the upper management have actual court reporting experience, causing questionable decision-making in important areas, and because of this I would caution any stenos or digital reporters thinking of working with them.
