Vertex Solutions Response
6yI am always disappointed to see ex employee’s who feel in some way let down by the business and we take comments on Glassdoor very seriously.
To address the specific criticisms:
Firstly, as to bonus and basic salary. Vertex pays a basic salary and you ALWAYS get your basic – it is never taken away from you. The comment here is completely false.
Our “up to” 40% commission scheme depends on your billings and billing consistency. We are very transparent with all staff and interviewee’s and provide a full breakdown of how the scheme works along with a clear FAQ section. This is available on demand to anyone who is interested in working for us (just drop us a line). Any claim of “not understanding” how it works should again be taken with a pinch of salt – I am afraid, as within all recruitment firms, if there are zero results, there will be zero bonus.
Vertex advertising is never “cut and paste”, again a false claim. Part of our service is to advertise on behalf of our extensive and high-profile client base, which is where the adverts that you see on our corporate website come from.
Staff well-being is absolutely of primary importance to not only me but to the whole of the Vertex management team. This is why we have 23 benefits (And growing), which include private medical cover, an achievers lunch club, promotion bonuses and others. (Please check out our perk matrix here: https://www.vertex-solutions.com/careers/78/)
I am sorry that the author of this review has felt frustrated enough to make this posting. Whilst at Vertex we do everything that we can to enable success, recruitment is a tough career and not everyone can make a success of it.
