Pros

High-profile clients, good experience for the CV, some friendly staff.

Cons

- Staff are disposible - On call or working almost 24/7. 12 hour work days are the norm - No praise for good work, humiliated among peers for making a mistake - atmosphere of fear throughout whole company - constant micromanaging by senior staff - Obvious nepotism and cronyism and sexist environment - extremely bad for mental health

Hi there, Thanks for your review of Verve. I’m delighted to hear that you felt your time with Verve was good experience and that you got to work with some of our high-profile clients. Its a pity to see the cons you have mentioned, although long hours do go with the job, staff should not feel that they are on call or working almost 24/7. I would be happy to discuss any elements of your review further, if you would like to email me – Rachel@verve.ie. Thanks a mill, Rachel Stuart Talent & Development Manager

Pros

They provide numerous chances for learning and growing. As well as potential job opportunities after. You get what you put into it though! You will be exposed to many great brands and companies to work for. The experience is well worth it. The office's are lovely to work in and there is time for getting to know your colleagues outside of work.

Cons

As an intern you may expect more guidance than provided. And not everyone seems keen to help. So it is important to speak up and always stay on top of things. There will not be a clear set of guidelines so be organized, don't overbook yourself and ask lots of questions.
