We take employee feedback very seriously and are committed to creating the best working environment possible for all our team members. There’s a clear misunderstanding about raises and the timeframes associated with them. Veterans Guardian has provided raises after 90 days of employment and provides raises at many points in an employee's tenure. These raises are based on a variety of factors, including performance, attendance, teamwork, tenure, and contributions. Our policy on PTO and unpaid sick time is clearly defined in our employee handbook. We make every attempt to be as accommodating as we can to individual situations and we go out of our way to ensure employees can enjoy PTO and still meet the requirements of a 40-hour work week. We also believe in creating an environment where employees feel appreciated and come together as part of a team during work hours for socials. We find that this is a fun way to boost morale and we have not heard any complaints from current employees that suggest we do away with them. As far as changing and evolving, the answer is simple - we must change to give the best possible service to our veteran clients. The VA changes and therefore our company processes and policies must as well. We must remain agile as a company and we will continue to adjust to anything the VA might throw at our veterans. Again, we appreciate the feedback and are committed to continuing to create the best working environment possible.
