Pros

The vast majority of the people you work with on a day-to-day are great. Work from home recommended. Benefits are ok.

Cons

Too long to list everything here. No feedback provided on performance throughout the year, even if you constantly ask for this. Coaches are often too overworked to schedule time to discuss career development. If you are able to get feedback, even if you act on it and implement suggestions then it's not noticed. Partners have no visibility on the performance of employees (and they are the ones who decide raises, bonuses etc). You're not 'asked' to work late into the night or into the evening but it's basically expected to keep your job. E.g. clients in different timezones will schedule calls that you're expected to take at 7/8/9/10pm at night. If you are friends with partners / upper management you will be fast-tracked to a promotion, regardless of ability. If you are not as close with partners, you will get virtually no raise, bonus or acknowledgement of your hard work. So much more, but would strongly recommend staying away from this company unless you're desperate for work and do not value your mental health. Do not try providing feedback or suggestions to upper management. Several people I worked with made suggestions due to performance reviews being very unstructured and 'on the fly' - they were conveniently 'let go' shortly after. My opinion is that they are really struggling financially. Bonus payments were expected in July, then they were pushed to September, then further pushed to November. When they finally awarded bonuses, those who were lucky enough to get one were frequently offered 1 - 3 % (a drastic decrease on when PwC Law were still a thing). Many many people were told they were not eligible for a bonus because their performance was not adequate, Vialto would fish for the tiniest possible reason to not pay.

Pros

-People are actually good for the most part -work is actually pretty interesting - as long as u meet ur deadlines and meetings you can work at times that are best for you -Overall a good place if you're type a overachiever and like to challenge yourself and climb the corporate ladder and enjoy learning or have workaholic tendencies

Cons

-forcing hybrid for new hires while majority of company is remote. Have to work 60+ hours on top of commute time to office is brutal while ppl in ur teams all wfh - bare minimum training . Everyone will be too busy to teach you anything. You just get thrown work at you and you sink or swim. Its completely dreadful and just not an efficient way to learn complex work -the workload is never ending and gets mind numbing after a while -pays so low and you're doing similar hours to other big firms for much less pay -almost no office perks like other big firms no free dinners etc
