Pros
If you enjoy working four ten hour shifts and having a three day weekend than this is the place. A fantastic cafeteria and Gym. A strong customer base.
Cons
Low pay, Rumors, Rumors ,Rumors that fly though the place by both workers on the floor and some of the department heads and the supervisors. It is the Good Old Boy mentality that has existed here for generations now. A great group of long term employees whom truly care of the product but that are overlooked and expected to fill in constantly in other positions due to the fact they cannot keep the new help they hire. The benefits are good if you have been there for five or more years. Sometimes you get forty hours or more and sometimes you will get less than forty hours depending which department you are in. It is a smokey and extremely hot plant. The over all can do attitude has continually declined on the floor and long term employees are now leaving or looking to leave. It is certainly not the turn around we all had hoped for when Vibram bought it out.
