Pros
For retail and part time while I was in college the pay was very good. Working with customers had its pros and building relationships with them. Employee discounts on merchandise were also a plus.
Cons
The hours and schedule. Good luck getting weekends or holidays off. I was told only one weekend off a month. When I needed to cut down on my schedule due to classes, it was suggested maybe I drop a class. Also when bringing up a summer internship, they acted like it would be the end of my job.
