Pros
-- Once a great company with smart people, good technology and fun -- Opportunities to learn about supply chain and play with Java and J2EE -- Relaxed working hours - I almost never had to work over 30 hours; sometimes this is a pro and a con as I didn't have much to do somedays and had to browse the internet for hours
Cons
-- leadership, leadership, leadership...There is none. No vision at all. Once the company had smart managers with dynamic personalitiies, but that was years ago. -- transparency: almost nothing is transparent; everything is hidden making it difficult to trust what you are being told. -- poor morale: layoffs have occurred almost every 6 months and threats of bankruptcy make motivation low -- older technology - never upgraded to the new standards; no one clearly driving to leadership in the tech arena makes it hard to grow your career -- bordem: not enough for anyone to do. Significant layoffs with outsourcing to asia will make you into a tester and bug fixer.
