Pros

Most people are friendly on the surface Decent benefits (money to shop on Vinted, learning budget) It's a famous company

Cons

Everything is urgent - Tasks are managed poorly. One week everything is calm, the next week it is chaos. Instead of managing our work correctly, so it's evenly spaced out and reasonable deadlines are given - everything is organised last minute so we are forced to submit our work urgently. It is not unusual to be given a task at 7pm at night and asked to complete it by 12pm the next day. Sometimes I feel like things are designed to be stressful just to make us work harder. I find it hurtful when I am asked to submit work urgently and then I find out the real task wasn't due for another week or so. Of course, we have to compromise on quality to meet such demands. Overwhelming workload - Most people feel like they have too much work and too many meetings. Many people do unpaid overtime or work late at night or on weekends to keep up. And, they will send you emails or give you new tasks during that time. I work through my lunch breaks every day. Most people look exhausted on a daily basis. Many promises have been made to help us with this problem but so far nothing has been done Feedback is not taken onboard - The management is transparent and willing to listen to feedback but change is not implemented from that point on. I have made many agreements with my managers on workload and other forms of support I need to reduce my stress/protect my mental health and none of them are followed up on. They agree to things but nothings changes Occasionally I am asked to complete tasks that go against my moral code and since they are given to me urgently, I don't feel like I have time to negotiate them. Compensation is low considering how hard you are expected to work and the extra hours you have to put in to fulfil the workload.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're really sorry about your experience since we care about the mental well-being of our employees. We realize how difficult it may be to be a part of a rapidly expanding company. With a growing workforce and different teams and offices, appropriate strategy and planning are critical to the company's success. Thus, we encourage you to contact your manager or the people team for assistance. You are also welcome to email more feedback to glassdor@vinted.com The mentioned diversity efforts are on top of our agenda we just ask for a little bit of patience while we are assessing all opportunities. Best regards, The Vinted People Team

Not a company to work and invest in. They try to give this, "cool" vibe but they fail in the important things.
