I have worked for multiple biotech companies and this is by far the most disorganized with the least amount of incentive. It is standard in the industry(even amongst start-ups) to regularly recognize employees for work, especially groundbreaking or at least contributory work, with bonuses, stock options, parties, raises, etc. Viome overworks, micromanages, and under appreciates, doing none of the aforementioned to show their appreciation. That would be fine, if the pay was even remotely competitive.
