Pros

Great people contact if customer service is your thing! Most colleagues are nice and friendly.

Cons

Pay is rubbish - the better money is on the 4am starts or the past 6pm finishes and/or Sunday and/or public holidays. Shift work can be a tough adjustment for those who aren't used to it. Keep a log of anything worth covering yourself for - from what you may have done and/or what you witnessed and/or what you said/challenged - as mentioned VA like to keep record also but to use against you rather than for you. VA are deceiving regarding their flexibility and willingness to work with you. They don't provide you with the full picture and/or training regarding understanding any of the administration side of pay, leave, rostering, etc. They work on fear rather than praise, keeping record of every minor error or anything you challenge and are easy and quick to reprimand and terminate over educating you. There is definitely a distinct pattern in how they work. In particular how they operate whilst you are within your probation period. If you have been subject to any experience like this with VA contact Fair Work and report - you are not alone!

Pros

Office environment was great, even though it was a cubicle farm. Systems and processes were very good. Benefits for travel were very good. Facilities were really good too. Lots of really great people.Flexible work hours available.

Cons

Hierarchy was obvious but to be expected. You need to have a thick skin if you are working on a temporary contract.
