Pros
Recently retired after 31 1/2 years of employment. Until recent years, I always felt my employment at West Jersey Hosp. before Virtua was the best thing that ever happened to me. Even Virtua was great until recent years. I was happy and proud to work for this company. I received several awards over the years, including the Super Star Award, which is the highest recognition Virtua gives to individuals and/or groups. I felt appreciated, encouraged and supported.
Cons
I retired this year and did not receive any recognition by the unit I worked in-not even a card! The prior year I was on disability for 5 months because of surgery without my manager ever contacting me about my recovery.
