Pros

The coworkers you work with are great people. This job does give you an entry level look into sales and client based companies. You also get to see some pretty cool videos.

Cons

On first impression, this company seems great, but do not let that fool you. When hired on your are promised this company will not be like others that you dislike going into work, and actually they are right there. You more then dislike it, you will hate it. The company is severely micromanaged and your individuality taken from you. Sales training is poor and when you do not produce you will have management breathing down your back making it that much more stressful. The company has a hand time keeping its employees motivated due to the manor in which the company is run is unprofessional at best. Promotions and other things are promised but never kept, making the fact that being severely underpaid that much more disheartening. The best advice I can give is to just say no.

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Virtual Media Group. I was involved in many different aspects so I have a solid understanding of VMG. Everyone who works there is a very solid person and it felt like a family. My reason for leaving was wanting to leave St Louis. It's where I've been most of my life and I needed a change. I worked on video projects for clients, facilitating the whole process and making sure everything stayed on path for a timely delivery. It was fun! It gave me a chance to be creative and collaborate with awesome talented people inhouse. They have WONDERFUL designers, producers, sales team, and CEO. Since they hired a Production Director/Head Designer and changed CEO's they're now headed in a great direction with tons of potential. They are also very understanding of the work /life balance. If you are interested in seeing what they do, visit their website and check out some great videos!!

Cons

The benefits could be better. They will get better in time but with a smaller company, it's understandable.
