Travel is obligatory and treated as a perk by management even though you work even longer hours away from home and family for no extra pay. Management is all about control and lies to keep you in line. No phones allowed in the building, no music, obligatory overtime without pay, leaving on time is frowned upon, and checked daily, with already longer than industry standard hours. Toxic approach to work-life balance. Ran as a family business so any HR issues fall on deaf ears, sometimes how your day goes depends on what side of the bed the family woke up on. Their business model is to hire promising graduates who can learn the basics of the job and keep the company running at low pay but offer no career advancement so that there are never any senior engineers there to learn from and getting a job interview for a new role is very difficult due to difficulty in getting time off at short notice and long notice periods. Would not reccomend.

It’s a small company so there is plenty of opportunities to learn. But, there are no career improvement paths so it’s a good place to learn if you are out of university and need a job to gain experience

The business is run like a family business and there is no appreciation for any hardwork or initiatives the employees take. There is no work life balance.. popular words from management is you should only have work work balance.. as long as you don’t question anything and keep your head down it’s a great place. Once you ask for a fair hike in salary or holidays you won’t be on the good books. If you are looking for a company with growth opportunities in terms of career and monetary values this is not the right place.
