Pros
Good opportunity to gain experience as they will hire virtually anyone and you are usually thrown into the deep end pretty quickly. Good to decent compensation although if the commissions were cut in anyway that would no longer be the case.
Cons
This is essentially a hedge fund and I think it is an entirely open question whether or not they are making any money for their investors. Management jumps from one new idea to the next (sometimes week to week) and very little thought is put into how those ideas will be implemented. For example they switched to a new property database without letting any current employees see the new software and against the advice of their CTO. HIGHLY questionable commitment to their own mission statement and core values.
