Pros

- Some of your colleagues

Cons

- Management don't care about staff. They're treated like replaceable machine parts. - There is no guidance, help or plans from management for career progression. - Team activities are few and far between. - Nepotism - Other reviews stating it is a good workplace are completely false.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I'm also very sorry your time here did not meet your expectations. As a co-founder, it's extremely important to me that we try to make everyone's time here as enjoyable and rewarding for both you and the company as possible. As you would know, some of the activities we have put in place to help with this include fortnightly coffee catch ups with your coach, monthly automated check-ins (proud to say July’s happiness rating was an 8.36/10), quarterly goal setting and coaching, annual two way reviews, encouragement of personal training and education and a substantial budget to match, team activities (the last one being axe throwing), annual company and partners 3 night trip to Moreton Island among many other things. But, sometimes we don't always hit the mark and would value any specific feedback on how to improve the things you mention. Please feel free to reach out to me on my personal email address or mobile.

Pros

From what I've experienced from working at Vision6, it is a progressive thinking SaaS business, that values its employees. I'm given enough trust and resources to succeed in my role and to achieve my goals, but with the support and backing to learn from mistakes, if made. If there are any tools and equipment I believe would allow me to carry out my role more efficiently and effectively, I have the confidence these would be supplied. Vision6 is very empathetic to family requires, and provides a flexible work environment that doesn't push guilt on an employee if they were to be sick, or had to tend to a family emergency. Time is allocated for me to set aside, allowing me to complete certificates and courses to further my industry knowledge, ultimately allowing me to perform better in my role. As well as this, time is also set aside so I can read industry-relevant news articles and white papers.

Cons

The team is small, so turning around a process change or project can be more lengthy than usual, but if you manage your time and expectations correctly, this isn't an issue. Opportunities for advancement would be smaller compared to a large organisation, but this is to be expected.

Pros

Vision6 is truly one of the best companies I have ever worked for. The culture is great and you get to work alongside brilliant and highly passionate individuals across all departments. Although the team is smaller than our competitors, everyone pitches in and works together to get the job done and done well! Work life balance is great - they are very understanding of family or personal commitments and arrange flexible working schedules when needed. The senior management team are down to earth, understanding people who genuinely listen to their staff. My manager in particular always pushes the team to learn and grow both professionally and personally. I feel supported - both at the upper management level, as well as a closer, team level. Peoples' opinions, ideas, and thoughts are always heard so everyone is given an opportunity to really make an impact.

Cons

More opportunities for team activities so that different departments can interact with each other and further build team rapport. (Although we do have annual retreats and company-wide happy hours.) Other than that, I don't have any cons in terms of management and processes.
