Pros
Superintendents were provided a company car and gas card. Certain benefits like a box at sporting events and concerts. Those only apply to the events they want you to attend. Competitive pay was received.
Cons
Poor management from the top of the company down to area managers. Emphasized building a quality product but did not give boots on the ground employees the tools to do so in the time given. Sub contractors utilized are production home quality but this was not what was expected. Purchasing department was not organized or thorough which fell upon Superintendents to catch mistakes, or they would be penalized for the error. Upper management never bypassed middle management to get a true accounting of conditions and process. HR and Accounting do not set up payroll correctly, federal taxes not taken on more than one employee's paychecks. Lastly, will promise lots of opportunities to move up in company. They were unable and unwilling to fulfill these promises.
