VisualCV is doing it right - they are a remote company, so you can work from wherever you are most productive (coffee shops, a coworking space, or home). Management is committed to developing great employees, and it is obvious they really care. Great compensation, flexible work hours, and the right people make VisualCV one of Vancouver's best companies.
Cons
Because the company is operated remotely, you need to be very self-motivated and organized to work here. They give you a lot of freedom, and as long as stuff gets done everyone is happy. No pointed-haired managers breathing down your neck.
