Treat your employees better--not just with lip service, but with action. Diversity only exists from the bottom up, very few managers of color, same goes for C-Level execs. There is a culture of toxic positivity. C-Levels will boast how well they treat their employees while at the same time provided zero additional compensation for twice as much work. And then gaslight us by saying we should climb the ladder into management positions that don't exist. Why talk about all the growth were having in these company meetings and then not be generous with the lifeblood of your organization. It is a 'pull up your bootstraps' mentality. Condescending bonus program that make us spin a wheel like we're on an episode of Squid games. Very humiliating to leave our livelihood to chance. I could have used the maximum amount pay for medical bills, rent, food for my children etc.
