Pros

Great people and interesting product.

Cons

Poor management and a horrible nasty culture of talking about employees from management (particularly in operations). Poorly paid unless you work in the tech teams. Zero progression. Real issues with confidentiality and taking issues raised by team members seriously. Weak HR team.

Pros

The culture is genuinely friendly and collaborative - it may sound cliché, but it’s true that everyone is willing to help. Colleagues are extremely knowledgeable (you’ll work with some of the smartest people, including graduates from Oxford and Cambridge) that are genuinely driven by their passion for promoting sustainable travel. The business attracts amazing talent that is both highly competent and deeply committed to its mission, which is rare to find. Unlike at a larger multinational, you’ll have close relationships with management and the freedom to voice your opinions and ask questions openly.

Cons

The founders and management team are relatively junior, and some of their investment decisions have created additional stress for the business and its employees. As the company is still scaling, certain processes are not yet fully organized, though they are continuously being developed and improved and as employee you get the chance to contribute and partake in the process. At times, the prioritization of projects, business strategy or processes doesn’t feel quite right, which ties back to the inexperience of the management team.
