Pros

Vydia's team is very sharp - everyone is very focused on improving the product and client's experiences. Since Vydia is still somewhat small - there is a lot of exposure to multiple parts of the business, where you can learn from different teams and topics - which gives the opportunity to understand the Music Distribution space from a unique perspective. They encourage ideas and are open to expanding responsibilities for the employees that raise their hands - there are plenty of growth opportunities. working remotely has become easy with the team that is so eager to work collaboratively but going to the NJ office was always super fun and exposed me to more connections with the team The product is great and clients love it - there is def a great future ahead

Cons

as with any fast-growing company, there is always a lot to do and always a lot to change/improve - and not everyone fits into this model - you have to be willing to work hard and think outside the box - this is definitely not a company where you will have a limited job description and stick to it I add this as a con because sometimes it can be overwhelming and I believe the leadership is still trying to find the balance between personal vs responsibilities as they expand Since this is an NJ based company, there are a lot more people that are local and that have been in the company for a while - this can sometimes narrow the perspective in some ways, and it can feel like a family business - but I do see them trying to add more and more experienced leaders to their team to balance that as well

Pros

Great company culture - the culture committee is staffed by employees from all levels of the organization and led by ground-level personnel Growth - you can move up or laterally as long as you are willing to develop the skills needed, they won't hold you back Innovative - This company was a disruptor from the start and they will continue to push automation and new services for their clients, pivoting as needed to anticipate market trends Inclusive - DEI isn't a program that is checked off as part of compliance training, it's built into the bones of the company Transparent - Weekly all-hands meetings keep everyone aware of the goals and achievements of every department in the company. Flexibility - Unlimited PTO and mostly hybrid-remote work

Cons

Communication from the top needs to be more frequent.
