Pros

Free breakfast/lunch during the week. Flexible with schedule. Management is great. The Principals are willing to teach if you express interest. Dental, health, & vision insurance paid by the company. They allow as much time off as requested.

Cons

Job depends on how well the market is doing. Upper management isn't transparent when it comes to how well the company is doing or how everyone can improve on the company. Favoritism can tend to happen amongst Principals when it comes to attending out-of-work events. Depending on the Principal - They tend to not be aware of their budgets & can tend to go waaaay over their budget & there is no sort of accountability for it, which can really affect the company. The Job Captains are waaay underpaid. On other hand, The Architects & VPs of the company are getting paid a hefty salary. Definitely negotiate your salary when offered a job... They offer leeway for that. No 401K match from the company.

Pros

Great opportunity to work on high-profile projects for large corporations while expanding your professional network and learning from experienced team members.

Cons

Workplace perks have steadily diminished over time, with benefits such as office snacks, employee recognition, and other morale-boosting initiatives being reduced or eliminated. The overall office culture has become less engaging and less enjoyable than it once was. Frequent layoffs have created an environment of uncertainty, making employees feel less secure about their future with the company. At times, the culture can feel more focused on attrition than retention, which negatively impacts morale and trust. Prospective employees should carefully evaluate any perks or benefits discussed during the hiring process, as they may not be permanent and could change over time.
