Lack of true leadership.
No option for remote, even if your circumstances call for it.
Promotions based on politics & not based off the merits of work.
Management is more concerned with the company image being "modern" than producing quality work.
No HR - major issues pertaining to harassments of all kinds.
It's a small operation and yet, management knows little to nothing about their staff.
There is no family element, more of an "every person for themself" mentality. There is also a bit of pitting people against each other, which leads to tons of animosity.
The blame game is a regular thing - little to no accountability
