Pros
1. Interesting place for young architects to learn because the projects are often large scale and complex. Also, the projects are often in fairly interesting locations. 2. The internal office infrastructure is fairly well organized. 3. Design is a priority. 4. Relatively little office politics / infighting. 5. Working environment is good. 6. Staff is dedicated. 7. Woha make some nice buildings. 8. Can learn a lot in short amount of time.
Cons
1. Salary is significantly lower compared to other firm doing the same size building. Everyone I know makes more doing the same job. 2. "Your job is your life" - so expect long hours / working weekends during deadlines and during competitions. The reward for hard work is getting to be a part of the process. Don't expect higher pay or promotions. 3. Not the type of place you go to have a "career" as there is little room to advance in rank or salary and it is rare to see anyone advance. There are senior staff in management that have been there many years and will be there many more.
