      The news team did a great job taking a more in depth approach to its story telling vs. typical commodity news.

      Cons

      The financial support from ownership was not as substantial as it should have been. This lead to smaller staff sizes and more work for the team who remained.

      Good coworkers for the most part.

      Cons

      Poor pay for the volume of work. Low staffing resulted in incredible strain on the already bare-bones digital team and resulted in high turnover. Company layoffs continue to gut newsrooms and limit the team's coverage scope and depth.
