Pros
Pay is good. Thats it.
Cons
Pay you just well enough to keep you where you are - easy to become complacent. Too busy to have a life outside of work, too busy to look for other work . On call 24/7, even on days off. High stress. Constant demand from up line managers. High turnover for employee base as well as up line management. I was a district manager for 15 years and I had 13 division managers and 9 area managers - all got fired or quit. Almost all of them were toxic narcissists and/or sociopathic and/or highly autistic (seems to be a requirement for moving up). You will eventually be conned into doing something against company policy at some point by upline management - they all start off high and mighty but eventually they all break the rules and then will blame you when something goes wrong. The district manager role in this company is the hardest job in the company, you get 100% of the blame for everything and zero credit.
