The policies are ancient and there's been a recent problem with purposfully understaffing company-wide. Morning shift feels like just one customer with too many alterations can absolutely derail the entire operation because of the archeic and sometimes inefficient calling system. You are not signing up for just one job. You are a server, busser, dishwasher and janitor all at the same time while still serving customers (you get compensated very little in pay for this, despite what they will try to tell you when you apply). Your manager and coworkers will make or break this job for you. Management is corperate as expected, they aren't really allowed to be rude to you directly but will annoyingly insist that their servers need to "work harder" no matter how out of hand the problems are. You will get weirdos both as customers and as coworkers. Brace yourself for some weird stuff if you're a young woman because this place has no standards for who they take in and hire especially on night shift. Bottom line, this isn't a place to work at for anything more than experience to move on up to somewhere you'll get better compensation.
