Pros

A great team of dedicated, hardworking professionals. The team strives to provide top quality services and this is reflected in the calibre of people Wallbrook recruits. Management are genuinely supportive and provide early opportunities for client and people management. There is a flat structure, and new ideas are encouraged. Hard work is rewarded with generous year end bonuses, stock options and career progression.

Cons

Hours can be long due to the nature of client work and early responsibility afforded to staff but this is made up by the fact that the team supports each other through busy periods.

Pros

Wallbrook is an ethical firm and does right by its employees. It got through covid without ANY redundancies. When temporary pay cuts were initiated, senior staff took them first and took a higher cut than junior staff – the cuts were all eventually repaid in full. It is also the only firm in its sector to be b-corp certified. The work itself is stimulating and rewarding to anyone interested in international affairs and research. Senior management really cares about their employees and there are lots of opportunities for growth! The firm also gives extremely generous annual bonuses.

Cons

Like most professional services firms at the moment, Wallbrook is working mostly remotely, which has its limitations. However there are plans to return to in person work as soon as it is safe to do so.

Pros

Quality of the work and clients is high. There aren't many egos - the continuity of staff means a lot of knowledge is shared and passed down to more junior staff and people who join from other companies in the industry.

Cons

The company was recently sold. It's not a con but it's starting to become more corporate with more bureaucracy. Decisions seem to take longer to make.
