lack of equipment (mac mini and power cord for remote work, that's it) Yearbook Side Development team is where I worked - Does not adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Has no discernible software development methodology. Not waterfall. Definitely not agile. More like Wild Wild Midwest - Tickets look like they were written by a fifth grader - Development finished product expected is a moving target - Holds you to standards without providing WHAT those standards are. (No coding standards) - The 1950's management mentality (see advice for Management) - Also, expect to be nano-managed - Senior Development Staff is continually rude and occasionally offensive. - Exceptionally poor communication and collaboration and knowledge sharing. - Unwilling to listen to ANY new ideas. You will NOT have a voice. - Uninterested in work life balance. - Really, isn't this enough! Just keep moving...
