Pros

Salary Benefits Tuition reimbursement Company Growth CEO is personable and available Options to move up and take on new roles Culture of Safety A focus on Lean

Cons

A lot of overtime, but company is switching to a 2-2-3 schedule to ease that burden. A lack of focus on training and mentoring. Company could encourage employees with potential to develop through college education. Education through the local community college could lead to new leaders and tradesmen for your company. Also, if you need engineers why not sponsor your own employees to attend college through your tuition program to grow. We have two universities within driving distance that offer engineering programs.

Pros

Colleagues were always friendly. The events were always interesting. If you want to spend your days in a greenhouse or around knick knacks, it's a nice place to work. Working at Waterloo Gardens is a great conversation starter.

Cons

It suffered from the usual troubles that go along with a family run business transitioning from one generation to the next. If you have expectations of developing a marketable skill set, you might be disappointed.
