Pros

The CEO cares about the people who work here.

Cons

When changes are made to processes, the people making those changes, don’t consult the people who use those processes day in and day out before just making the change. It’s extremely frustrating.

Sells a product you can get passionate about. Growing organization that is ambitious and are loyal to their employees.

Need to move some of the longer tenured managers on and let the new blood with fresh ideas drive change.

Pros

At Waterplay you aren't treated like a number or anyone who can enter the data into a system. You are treated like a human with ideas that are valued and are encouraged to bring your crazy ideas to the table. Work-life balance is not only supported but encouraged. Having an extra paid week of mental health/wellness days was one of the biggest reasons why I wanted to work at Waterplay. Spending your working life at a company that takes care of their employees in this way is quite telling to how we are valued. There is also a lot of transparency between management and the employees. I can't be specific on this here but it is another example of how Waterplay values you as a person and not just an expendable employee.

Cons

Like any larger organization there are some communication issues between departments.
