Pros
Freelancers are given lots of opportunities for more work/hours or even full-time positions. They pay good rates and on time. There was plenty of flexibility in terms of work hours and communication, which I appreciated.
The (all-female) team I worked with was great—dedicated, smart, friendly, helpful—and always trying to improve. They really care about finding and training quality writers/editors, and making sure they succeed.
Cons
Not necessarily a disadvantage, but as a writer/editor here, you need to have thick skin and be able to handle feedback well. It might be daunting at first, but you'll be a better writer/editor because of it.
