Pros

- Flexible Hours and schedule for Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Clinical Psychologists - New W-2 options for employment - WellQor is one of the few providers going into Senior Living Communities to provide services where there is a HIGH need for therapy/supportive services. - WellQor's clinicians become "part of the family" at the Senior Living Community and work closely with staff to help coordinate and provide comprehensive services - Clients build strong relationships and rapport with clinicians and they look forward to having someone to connect with and challenge them each week. They enjoy the routine and socialization we can provide, along with actively engaging clients and working to help delay the progression of normal age related decline or decline due to a diagnoses of Dementia or other Medical Condition. - WellQor Clinicians provide support for overall total wellness of the mind, body and spirit for each client they serve - WellQor Clinicians provide family therapy and education to struggling family members as well - WellQor Psychologists assess each client's overall functioning and helps the client, the family, and the staff understand where the person is at cognitively and psychologically. We often discover areas that need work that the client was covering up such as forgetting names, visual impairments, auditory impairments, being able to complete certain activities of daily living on their own, etc. - WellQor has a strong clinical focus and foundation which is led by our Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Paul Nussbaum, a renowned Neuropsychologist.

Cons

- There are no benefits (health care, vacation/sick time) offered to Part Time W-2 or 1099 Independent Contractors, however if you work over 30 hours per week you are eligible for benefits and over 32 hours a week you are eligible for a salaried position. - Some locations can take 45 or so minutes to commute to, however management does try to find locations closer to home.

Pros

I can't say enough good things about WellQor! It is by far the best job I've ever had. It provides the flexibility that comes with a work-from-home job while also being fulfilling enough to make me feel I'm making a positive impact in the lives of the people we serve. Management is absolutely delightful and shows appreciation for staff every chance they get. I also feel very well compensated for the work I put in and see many opportunities for growth within the company long into the future.

Cons

None that I can think of!

Pros

Effective communication Small but mighty team of knowledgeable practitioners Fast, easy on-boarding - The onboarding has a "sandbox" step where you can learn the EHR while waiting to be cleared for clients so youre not learning on the fly A system that speaks to their focus on providing the best care possible, not the best numbers possible - every step in the process is collaborative to understand you as a clinician so that youre matched with the appropriate clients, your scheduling needs are met, and you feel heard. Freedom to be your own professional with a support system to fall back on when you need it - Autonomy to run your sessions the way you feel is appropriate without focus on logistics or metrics Great resource library accessible at any time The best EHR and AI integration that I've seen yet! - I no longer dread completing notes at the end of the day and instead can focus on being present and actively listening in sessions and then can be done when my sessions are done for the day

Cons

2 months in and there is nothing negative to say. If you haven't worked from home before, it can be difficult and feel isolating, but the company provides many opportunities to reach out and connect to other practitioners in the company.
