Facility is newer, so wasn't always fully opened/staffed.

Pay and PTO are both superior to other organization's opportunities. Five eights. Opportunity to earn overtime. Three twelve hour shifts may be made available to you in intake dept.

Can be dangerous. No CE reimbursement. No clinical supervision for licensure. Sometimes as in intake, you will work without a licensed psychiatrist or ARNP in the building or who even has seen the patient so you will be liable for your life or death decisions without consultation opportunity. Vulnerable patients are placed with violent patients in shared rooms. Isn't sufficient number of well trained staff to manage behaviorally out of control patients or whom can monitor same for safety which leads to frequent, if not daily, assaults. Prescribers often don't medicate or sedate psychiatrically unstable and dangerous patients soon enough which leads to distraught and dangerous patients endangering the lives of others. The hospital seems to be able to avoid state regulator sanctions despite the number of legitimate reports of violations of health and safety for patients and staff. No open door policy with administrators.
