Pros

You learn about locum tenens.

Cons

For starters, this company opened its doors on January 2nd. Since January 2nd, there have been a total of 14 employees. In under FOUR months, 11/14 have either quit or been fired. The expectations are set too high for an entry level recruiting position. They expect you to be a top recruiter right away, if you aren't, they'll let you know. The other 3 employees make up 2 senior people brought over from the parent company and a support specialist. Micromanaging is an understatement. You will constantly be receiving emails on what to do, who to call, and if you aren't calling these providers right away, you will get a passive aggressive email telling you to do so. You're told to call providers on jobs they've already mentioned they weren't interested in. The goalposts are changed all the time and we have no clear metrics. Management cares more about having 20-25 completed calls with 0 people interested than having 5-10 completed calls with all 5-10 people interested. Management cares more about volume than anything else including meaningful production. The goals do not make sense here. The general atmosphere felt very tense and toxic. Not to mention that almost everyone felt extremely uncomfortable with management literally looking over your shoulder at all times. All the new hires are young and management treated us like children. There is no flexibility. 8-5:30 Monday-Friday. 45 hours a week and you get a 30 minute lunch break. Glassdoor prohibits specific details about sales numbers which is totally fine, but I can confidently say that the "robust sales growth" comment as was mentioned by managements response in the other review is a gross exaggeration.

Wellhart Response

Thank you for the feedback regarding your experience with Wellhart. We are truly a start-up organization in a well established industry. While we do have the support of our parent company, we are essentially creating a new endeavor from scratch. Wellhart's leaders have the experience and industry knowledge to get the company up to speed quickly, but we are also leaving room to expand that knowledge base and create an organization with its own tempo and goals. The locum industry is extremely rewarding and fast moving. As with any successful industry, competition is tight. Strong relationships with our clients and providers is critical to success. Technology has given us so many new ways to connect with our client and provider base and a strong digital, along with "personal" communication strategy, is essential. One without the other makes us fall short. In just 4 short months Wellhart is up and billing and we expect that to continue and to grow. We look forward to providing opportunity to all those interested in learning and growing with us. I am sorry your experience wasn't positive for you and wish you the best of luck in your next role! Thanks, Jennifer Castellarin Director, Sales & Recruiting
