Pros
Excellent benefits, appreciated my supervisors, great experience, opportunity to grow as a therapist and work with people from many different backgrounds and life experiences. They offer a lot of in house trainings, opportunity to learn DBT. I was offered supervision for my counseling and many opportunities for trainings.
Cons
Depending on where you work it can be very demanding and you may put in more hours which you won't get compensated for if you are salaried.
