Pros
Really good people overall. Solid collaboration within and between teams. Challenging problems to solve and a ton of potential growth.
Cons
Historically there have been retention issues and more than a few people who left on bad terms for a variety of reasons. To the management team's credit, they have responded and the culture and environment has become far stronger and more positive since these issues came to a head in 2014. Many of the negative reviews on this site were originally posted by disgruntled former employees. In most cases they were taken down voluntarily over time or removed by Glass Door for not meeting their guidelines. One or more former employees or bad actors (potentially a competitor) continues to "replay" the content, re-posting negative reviews with the content tweaked slightly to avoid Glass Door's automated spam filters. You can tell these reviews because they will typically have been posted within the past 3-6 months and they often have similar titles and content. Right now the examples are "You can do better" from 12/25/2015, "Avoid" from 11/16/2015, and "Underapprecaited" from 10/21/2015. Many of the items in these reviews are factually incorrect. If you are considering a job at Wellspring, you should come in for an interview and decide for yourself, as opposed to being mislead by the spam-like reviews posted by anonymous users.
