Pros

Company is okay with employees learning new skills and learning how to operate new equipment. Pay-rate is okay. Being employee-owned, profit-sharing bonuses, tuition assistance, and 401k are nice. Co-workers are pleasant most days.

Cons

Got kind of stuck in a stressful position without help. Don't like the hours and cannot switch due to held position (shift starts in the middle of the day to the middle of the night), the position isn't exactly as promised and found to be monotonous and quite redundant at times. point system is a nuisance, no sick days even with a note. It is very easy to burn through vacation time earlier than expected. Not a fan of management not taking employee needs into account, making changes directly affecting, benefits without consulting the employees, they can also be somewhat of a clique. Noise level can be extreme at times, it can be somewhat difficult to hear riders and forklift horns over some radios with nothing . a rather unkept work environment. Where one can easily learn a variety of skills, it is somewhat difficult to advance.

Pros

The people at Wenthe-Davidson are my reason for going into work each day. Such a great variety of friends I've made of "co-workers"! The company has a real open-door policy that I respect highly, and communication between departments is great, something I personally value. The benefits are excellent as well!

Cons

I have not had any negative experiences with this company!

Pros

Employee owned with an ESOP and profit sharing program. Overtime is always available but not mandatory. They really dont push general operators for part quotas, things are pretty laid back. Solid dental

Cons

Upper management have huge attitude problems which include anger issues, and known favoritism. Low pay for skilled positions and problems from management are creating a lack of people. Every toolbox meeting is all doom and gloom but no plan on how to actually fix the problems with quality. Numerous people in the front office and on the floor are leaving for better opportunities elsewhere. The board of directors and president of the company appear to be just sitting back and letting a few individuals take over and have their way with things. Management claims that if you mess up but own up to it and fix the problem in house before it gets to the customer that it's not an issue, but then will go back and give them a write up for even the most trivial of problems. Saftey issues recently caused OSHA to show up, but things are FINALLY getting up to saftey code. Good luck even mooving shifts for HR will just tell you that "we can just hire someone else cheeper." High deductable health insurace is god awful.
