Pros

Mission, front line employees at the communities care about residents, financial strength.

Cons

Job satisfaction at WesleyLife depends on where you work. Generally speaking, working at one of the communities can be a good experience, there are a couple that still have leadership problems, but overall the communities have good leaders that care about the employees. However, the corporate office is very toxic and it stems from the CEO. The person has been in the role too long and has become entitled, micro manages, and is a poor “leader”. Moreover, the person’s private, one-on-one persona does match their public persona. The board is ultimately responsible for this as they do not recognize the problem and/or will not take action. It’s a shame given the mission of the organization and its Christian heritage. It “could be” a fantastic place to work.

Pros

Good PTO benefits at the Director level: 30 days off a year. Good and affordable healthcare plan for you,

Cons

Pricey healthcare plans when it come to covering your spouse or child. High turnover. Low morale. Micromanaged and over-worked. Expected to work outside of business hours. Promised a wage increase in offer letter and leadership didn't follow through even considering a good performance. Just lover promised and underdelivered. Company cuts corners with product quality. Constantly updated and changed software creating a lot of wasted time and time just spent learning software instead of doing the thing that mattered...
