I actually quite enjoyed my time working here on the whole. Other reviews have articulated this much better than I can, however remote working is great. Colleagues are also lovely and there is a good camaraderie with staff. My line manager and HR department were also great and very understanding, which was really appreciated.
The work is generally interesting, and as others outline no two days are the same. Great experience of working with policy and events as well, so felt like I gained a lot of experience.
There is also quite a bit of room for progression in terms of pay which makes up for being on what feels like such a low wage to start.
Cons
IT was pretty slow and frustrating to use. Sometimes the server would just crash and there would be no way to carry on with work until the issue was fixed.
Monthly meetings did bring a lot of anxiety, despite being a good time to meet with colleagues and get some focused work done. You also had to pay for your own transport which felt a bit unfair at times.
Pay also starts very low if you're a new grad for the level of work you need to complete and the responsibility you have.
